Fritz Tilt Wall & Vertical Concrete Wall Patch is a superior quality Portland cement based patch for smoothing and filling vertical concrete surfaces. Non-shrinking, easy to mix and apply on interior and exterior vertical concrete and masonry surfaces prior to painting or sealing.
Fritz Tilt & Vertical Concrete Wall Patch is a Portland cement based trowelable concrete wall patch. Mixed with water it is smooth, creamy and easily applied. It is durable and stronger than latex and gypsum patch. Hardens and dries quickly without cracking and shrinking permitting sealing or painting as soon as the surface hardens.

Applications:
Fritz Tilt & Vertical Concrete Wall Patch is recommended for use on exterior or interior vertical concrete, precast or tilt wall, masonry or poured in place surfaces. Use to smooth any surface defects such as gouges or cracks of any size and shape.
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean and free of any residue which could prevent bonding. Remove any existing sealers or paint, form release, dust, dirt, oils and any other residue or weak surface materials. If needed, mechanically clean the surface by grinding, sanding or sand blasting. Thoroughly remove any cure and seal compounds. Weak surfaces must be removed to provide a solid and clean surface. Do not acid etch or apply solvents. Do not install in temperatures less than 50 degrees (F) or 10 degrees (C).
Mixing Application
We recommend the following tools be available, mixing bucket, steel trowel, margin trowel, sponge, rubber float, mixing paddle and a heavy duty drill.
Mix a 10 pound bag of Fritz Tilt & Vertical Concrete Wall Patch with 2 1/2 quarts of clean water or 2 parts by volume of powder to 1 part of water when mixing less than a full bag. Using additional water will weaken the mix and reduce the durability. Add the powder to the water in the mixing container. For best results when mixing a full bag, mix with a mixing paddle and heavy duty drill to a creamy smooth consistency. Do not add additional water. When mixing less than full bags hand mix with a margin trowel vigorously until lump free for 2-3 minutes.
Fritz Tilt & Vertical Concrete Wall Patch has a pot life of approximately 15-20 minutes at 70 degrees (F) or 21 degrees (C) but will vary with temperatures. Do not add water to retemper.
Application:
Apply to the prepared surface with a steel trowel thoroughly filling all surface defects. Before completely hardened touch up minor surface defects with a slightly dampened sponge or a rubber float. Once the surface is completely hardened surface defects can be smoothed with fine sandpaper or skim coated as necessary to fill surface depressions. Fritz Tilt & Vertical Concrete Wall Patch can be installed to any depth and smoothed to a feather edge finish. Longer cure time may occur in thick areas and cool temperature. Cure time can be substantially shorted in warm temperatures.
Painting and Sealing:
Application of paint or sealer can begin when the surface has hardened. The porosity of cementitious surfaces varies and may require a primer coat over the entire surface (patched and unpatched) prior to the paint application to achieve a more uniform and consistent appearance. Variations in color can occur due to jobsite conditions. For a monolithic appearance it is recommended an opaque paint or sealer be used.
Note:
Do not use on applications that will be left directly exposed to weather. Do not install if temperatures are 50 degrees (F) / 10 degrees (C) or below or rain is expected within 24 hours of application completion. Do not use in areas of standing water or permanent moisture.
Store unopened bags in a cool dry area. Remove air from previously opened bags and re-seal tightly. Protect from moisture intrusion.
Limited Warranty
FRITZ TILT & VERTICAL CONCRETE WALL PATCH IS WARRANTED AGAINST MANUFACTURING DEFECTS FOR SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF SHIPMENT. FRITZ INDUSTRIES, INC. MUST BE NOTIFIED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF SHIPMENT FOR DEFECT CLAIMS. FRITZ INDUSTRIES, INC. WILL REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT FOB MESQUITE, TEXAS 75149. PRODUCT REPLACEMENT CONSTITUTES THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THIS WARRANTY. FRITZ INDUSTRIES, INC. DOES NOT AUTHORIZE ANY STATEMENTS TO SUPERSEDE OR MODIFY THIS WARRANTY UNLESS IN WRITING FROM FRITZ INDUSTRIES, INC. TECHNICAL SERVICES. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER MISUSE, IMPROPER APPLICATION OR STORAGE.
Caution:
Avoid eye and skin contact. If there is eye or prolonged skin exposures thoroughly wash the area with clean water. Rubber gloves are recommended. If adverse conditions persist seek prompt medical attention immediately. Mix in a well ventilated area and avoid breathing dust or powder. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
