Poz-Patch 1 is a polymer modified pozzolanic formula which requires only the addition of clean water to produce a fast-setting, non-shrinking, non-cracking underlayment. Poz-Patch 1 can be poured and troweled from featheredge to 1 1/2" in one operation (not self-leveling). It is ideal as an interior or exterior underlayment for surfaces to be covered with carpeting, vinyl, asphalt, ceramic tile, wood flooring and other compatible coverings.

Limitations

Apply only at temperatures between 40 degrees F and 95 degrees F. Do not use over unstable materials or gypsum containing fill. Do not usePoz-Patch 1 on wood substrates.

Surface Preparation

Do not use Poz-Patch 1 on wood substrates. Poz-Patch 1 bonds to primed surfaces. Substrates must be sound, solid, clean and free from dust, oil, grease, curing agents, bond breakers, paint, wax sealers, or any deleterious substance which may act as a bond barrier. Prime with P-100 Acrylic Primer. Test for curing compound on concrete and remove by sanding or scarifying if present.

Mixing & Application

Place 2 quarts water in mixing container and add 25 lbs. of Poz-Patch 1 powder while mixing with an electric paddle for 1-2 minutes to obtain a homogenous smooth pourable consistency. Mix only an amount that can be used in 10-15 minutes. Do not over-water.
