A polymer modified, pozzolan based cementitious type material which requires the addition of clean water to produce a fast setting, dimensionally stable, high strength underlayment. Poz-Patch 100 is a trowelable product that can be applied from featheredge to 1½" thickness in one application. Poz-Patch 100 can be used on, below and above grade as an exterior or interior underlayment for carpeting, vinyl, ceramic tile, asphalt, wood flooring and other compatible coverings.

* Super Fast Installation
* High Compressive Strength
* 1½" Featheredge

Limitations

Apply only at temperatures between 50°F and 95°F. Do not use over unstable materials. DO NOT USE ON WOOD SUBFLOOR.

Surface Preparations

All subfloors must be sound, solid, dry, clean and free from dust, oil, grease, paint, wax, curing agents, sealers, release agents, or any deleterious substance which may act as a bond barrier.

Mixing

Electric Drill: Pour 2 quarts of clean water in a clean mixing container and mix while adding entire contents of this 17 ½ lbs. bag of Poz-Patch 100. Mix thoroughly with a heavy duty drill and mixer blade for 1 to 2 minutes to achieve a smooth, trowelable, homogeneous consistency. Do not over mix or entrap air in the material.

Hand Mixing: If less than a full bag is needed, place the desired amount of Poz-Patch 100 in a clean mixing container. While mixing by hand, add water until a desired trowelable, lump free consistency is achieved. The recommended mixing ratio is 3½ parts powder to 1 part water by volume. DO NOT OVER-WATER! Poz-Patch 100 is not to be used as a self-leveling underlayment.

CAUTION

Mix only the amount of material that can be applied in 10 to 15 minutes. After mixing with water, material normally hardens in 45 to 60 minutes. Do not re-temper. Any variation in the recommended quantity of water will affect the working and performance characteristics of the mix. It is recommended that a test be made to determine the suitability of this product for its intended use.
